About Us

Made for one of life’s biggest moments.

We dress for the moments that matter: the celebrations, the weddings, the days we know we’ll remember forever.

Birth is one of those days, too.

And yet, for as long as women have been giving birth in hospitals, what we wear during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery has been almost entirely an afterthought.

I created Partumy to change that.

I wanted to reimagine traditional hospital wear with pieces that bring a little more style, personality, and joy to the birth experience. Because something designed for the hospital can still feel special and it can still feel like you.

For me, the story started long before Partumy.

When I was preparing to have my first baby, I did what I had done for every other major moment in my life: I thought about what I wanted to wear.

I designed my own custom hospital gown and scoured the internet for grip socks to match. I wanted something that felt a little less like “hospital patient” and a little more like me.

By baby number two, I had upgraded my hospital bag socks to a pair of pink rhinestone grip socks made for barre classes.

And when I arrived at the hospital to have my third baby, without knowing whether I was having a boy or a girl, I brought a custom pair that read “Boy? Girl?” on the bottom.

The socks were a tiny detail.

But that was exactly the point.

The little details make big moments feel like yours.

I also knew the hospital side of birth exceptionally well. As a registered nurse specializing in maternal-newborn care, I spent years caring for moms and babies during those first crucial days postpartum.

Eventually, those two parts of my life came together: the mom who had always wanted something cuter to wear in the hospital, and the nurse who understood exactly what women actually needed during birth and recovery.

That’s how Partumy was born.

We started by reimagining the humble hospital grip sock, turning something purely practical into something moms would actually be excited to pack in their hospital bags.

And we’re only getting started.

Partumy is creating a new kind of apparel for labor, birth, and postpartum: pieces made specifically for the hospital, but designed with the same thought, personality, and excitement we bring to all the other moments that matter most.

Because your birth is a big deal. I think what you wear for it should be, too.
