What Your Hospital May Provide
For Mom: Mesh underwear, pads, a pericare bottle, numbing spray/foam, nipple cream, a breast pump, hospital gown, grip socks, water cup.
For Baby: Diapers, wipes, formula, pacifier, onesies, swaddle blanket, newborn hat, shampoo, comb.
It is strongly recommended that you contact your hospital or place of delivery ahead of time and ask what items will be provided for you!
The hospital does provide a gown and non-slip socks before delivery, however, you are typically welcome to bring your own gown and socks if that would make you feel more comfortable.
Note: Some facilities do have policies about wearing your own clothing during a C-section, so be sure to check with your hospital ahead of time.
